Easy and Relaxing
I can tell you this: from start to finish, the day was perfect. Touring with Customized Tours was easy, relaxing, and so lovely.
Our Honeymoon Trip
"Cory, our tour guide greeted us directly in our hotel lobby. We were the last of the tour to be picked up, so we were immediately on our way to the first winery! The tour does not include wine tasting fees, but there was a free tour that included some wine tasting (Chateau Ste. Michelle). We even had time to enjoy a glass of wine before the tour. Our tour guide took care of getting us our boxed lunches as we were at the winery! The next stop was Goose Ridge Winery, where we enjoyed lunch and another wine tasting. My husband saw that they also had cider tastings so he was able to taste cider! Our tour guide was very informative and personable, making the trip enjoyable. We had ample time to spend at each location. The falls were magnificent and it was convenient to be dropped off right at the falls! The last stop at the chocolate factory was a sweet end to our tour! We would highly recommend this tour!"
4-hour seattle city tour
We enjoyed our tour and our tour guide was very good about taking us to all the popular places as well as some side stops. (ex: Theo's chocolates, fisherman's landing, Kerry Park, Klondike National Park/museum). She was very knowledgeable and very informative about Seattle. We would recommend this tour and it is very reasonably priced.
Great Time!
Snoqualmie Falls and Seattle Winery Tour
Cory, the guide made this trip so much fun! I would highly recommend this trip it was the best part of my Seattle visit! (January 2020)
Most beautiful place in Washington State with super friendly and knowledgeable guide
Wow, what a day! I wasn’t sure what to expect with it being pretty cold and wet, but this tour was a blast. It had everything, beautiful lakes, waterfalls, beautiful lush forest, ocean beaches, hiking (be prepared to do a fair bit, at least 5 or 6 miles). Cresent Lake is breathtaking and Tongue point was a beautiful surprise at low tide with all the tide pools. Joel did an excellent job of showing us all the diverse landscape and some super cool hidden gems. There were even a few things we missed due to road closures so I will definitely be going back on another tour when the weather warms up. This place is truly spectacular and I couldn’t have asked for a more friendlier and knowledgeable guide.

Corey was an excellent guide and the tour is really great. Not rushed and really well explained. Recommended!!
June 29, 2022Our host/driver is John/Joe. He was awesome. He went above and beyond. He connected with his passengers. A few happenings that I thought we would not make... read more it at Leavenworth.
While we were at Safeway in Monroe for restroom break, he informed us about the avalanche and made a re-route to I-90.
Next, a few miles of driving, we heard the chain just snapped. He and his mates tried to fix the broken chain but to no avail. Some passengers were transferred in different bus. My group stayed in the bus because we were 11 people.
A few calls were made, while trying to fix the chain. An hour later, he successfully fixed the chain.
We arrived at Leavenworth at past 3 pm. He informed us we could stay until 7:30 PM.
I'm grateful we really made it to Leavenworth because it wasn't just a birthday celebration to begin with, but it was a first to my 2 sisters, who came all the way from Philippines and Australia, to see Leavenworth and top it all, the SNOW. This was also the first time I celebrated my birthday with them, after living apart for so many years.
Joe's driving was just enough for me. He wasn't fast nor slow. He made us feel safe with his driving.
Aside from driving, he lent us 3 pairs of spikes because he learned that it was slippery.
My group enjoyed the trip and the atmosphere in Leavenworth.
The trip after what happened made it all worth it.
I would not hesitate to book another in Customized Tours, with Joe as our host/driver.

Be aware that the guide doesn’t accompany you in every hike. For the mountain hike, he just gave us the “lay of the land” and the group went hiking on our own. We ended up going with another couple so 4 people in total which allowed some flexibility by fitting in a couple extra stops. First we went to Kerry park due to extra time, and it was stunning. Next we headed to the wineries which were amazing and came home with 4 bottles (whoops). There was food at one of the wineries which was super convenient. We brought a sandwich just in case but the food we had was excellent we didn’t end up eating the sandwhich. We then went to the waterfall which we were able to enjoy stunning views of the Snoqualmie falls. Lastly we ended at the chocolate factor where (you guessed it) we purchased an overload of handcrafted chocolate and received a tour of the small chocolate making area and met the owner, they also gave us a free treat! The experience was overall 100% worth the money and recommended to anyone coming to Seattle to learn more about the city, it’s wine country and chocolatiers in the area. Ask for mark!!! They very kindly allowed us to fill two seats on the next day’s tour. Next morning a five minute stroll had us at the pick up / drop off point and on time along came John our Tour Guide and Bus Driver.
The rest of the day was filled with interesting facts, figures, amazing sights and ample chances to explore the different locations we stopped at as well as take nourishment. Oh the photos we took and amazing as they were they really didn’t do the Mountain or scenery, full justice. You have to see it to believe it.
Mount Rainier is visible from Seattle which tells us that it has Mass but when you find yourself below it the experience is Humbling to say the very least.
As an Active Volcano which last erupted some 5,000 years ago and is expected to do so again I’m pleased to say I have had the chance to see it in it’s dormant phase.
Do yourself a huge favour and if your going to Seattle in Washington State, get in touch with Tours North West and ask to be seated on John’s Bus - you won’t regret it!
This was indeed money well spent and I would do this tour again, in a heart beat.
Thank you for your time, make up you own mind, Stay Safe and Happy.

It was a phenomenal day spent hiking, listening to history and nature... read more information while we drove or hiked. We experienced walking in snowshoes for the 1st time through snow covered areas at the top of Mt. Rainer, hiking through forests and seeing beautiful waterfalls. Meeting new people on the trip with us and having great tour guides heightened this fun day of exploration.
June 19, 2021Our guide Cory was wonderful, gave great insights into the area and was an overall joy to be around.
However, we wish that there was a bit more... read more insight about lunch - we were unsure of when and where to eat (if we should eat in the car or if there were picnic tables once we reached paradise). We chose to eat once we reached paradise, however, this limited our time in the area. We wished we had more time to explore and hike further but were nervous about missing the bus.
We also wish there was more dedicated time to do a short 1-mile hike (for those a bit more into nature). There seemed to be a beautiful trail near longmire that would have been nice. Overall, this was a beautiful way to briefly see the mountain, but limited in hiking. The longest 'hike' we did was 1/4 mile, and easily walked <2k steps with the group. We had a variety of ages hike our group.
As a result, this tour has given us inspiration to return and do the longer loops.

On the other hand, today's experience with Cory at Mount Rainier was incredible : funny, a lot of interesting facts, trying to please everyone with unplanned stops for ice cream e.g., and no word about the tip that he deserved much more than his colleague...
